However, Larry Sanger's idea is to use blockchain technology to create a decentralized Wikipedia. People around the world need a place to gather knowledge, such as Wikipedia and Everipedia. However, in some areas, the visit is not smooth.

Theodor Forselius, co-founder and CEO of Everipedia, told TNW:

We are always convinced that we can make bigger and better products than Wikipedia. With decentralizing and tokenizing, Everipedia is able to share knowledge based on the users we have built.

Dr. Sanger believes this is the best way to open Wikipedia to billions of people:

If a new project is to go hand-in-hand with an encyclopedia of crisis, unless it is done to centralize the whole world and to do it. Its potential is not just 5 million articles, but 100 million +, even those found in traditional libraries.

It is reported, Everipedia hopes to establish the new system on a P2P network, thereby eliminating the cost of hosting, and reduce rely on advertising or donations to support its content.
